UN LOFT D’ARTISTA A MILANO, LA DIMORA DI LUCA PANCRAZZI

Ecco un altro loft che sono stato invitato a fotografare.

Questa volta il mio amico architetto Mauro Merlini ha restaurato la casa milanese di un artista contemporaneo, Luca Pancrazzi.

L’interno presenta un giusto equilibrio tra spazi aperti e ambienti più intimi per lo studio e la riflessione.

Le grandi e piccole opere di Pancrazzi, insieme a quelle di altri artisti contemporanei, arricchiscono lo spazio e ne sottolineano le dimensioni. La casa sembra riprendere il concetto di cornice negli elementi verticali e orizzontali che si ripetono e inquadrano gli spazi.

Le ampie finestre, tipiche degli spazi post industriali, creano un’atmosfera rarefatta e accogliente grazie alla luce che si riflette sulle parti in legno naturale dalle tonalità calde.

Here’s another loft that I was invited to photograph.

This time my friend, the architect Mauro Merlini, restored the house of a contemporary artist, Luca Pancrazzi, in Milan.

The interior is a balance between open and more intimate spaces used as study and reflection.

Large and small works of Pancrazzi, along with those of other contemporary artists, enrich the space emphasizing the sizes. The house seems to recall the concept of a frame because of  the vertical and horizontal elements that are repeated, framing spaces.

Large windows, typical of post industrial spaces, create a rarefied and welcoming atmosphere, with the light reflecting on the elements made of natural and warm tones wood.
