SCALIGERO CONTEMPORANEO

Una villa recentemente completata sulle sponde del Lago di Garda presenta un ingresso unico, caratterizzante, locale, storico, innovativo: un intervento scaligero contemporaneo.

Lazise, il comune in cui si trova la villa, custodisce ancora il castello e le mura della dominazione scaligera, che hanno ispirato nelle forme e nei colori della scalinata d’ingresso l’architetto Pier Solieri, conferendo a questa residenza privata un collegamento chiaro e contemporaneo con la storia del luogo.

I materiali e i colori scelto, le ampie finestre, l’attenzione alla luce naturale di giorno e all’illuminazione notturna creano un sistema senza soluzione di continuità tra interno ed esterno. Un senso di tranquillità e libertà che richiama le terme del Lago di Garda, le piccole increspature del lago, le passeggiate tra le calli o sulle spiagge di Lazise e porta qualche reminiscenza dell’essere il primo comune libero d’Italia, dal 983, come recita l’epigrafe apposta sull’edificio municipale, nel centro della cittadina.

 A recently completed villa on the shores of Lake Garda features a unique, distinctive, local, historic, innovative entrance: a contemporary Scaliger intervention.

Lazise, the place where the villa is located, still preserves the castle and the walls of the Scaliger domination, which have inspired the architect Pier Solieri in the shapes and colors of the entrance staircase, giving this private residence a clear and contemporary connection with the history of the place.

The materials and colors chosen, the large windows, the attention to natural light during the day and to a specific lighting at night create a seamless system between interior and exterior. A sense of tranquility and freedom that recalls the thermal baths of Lake Garda, the small ripples of the lake, the walks through the streets or on the beaches of Lazise and brings some reminiscences of being the first free municipality of Italy, since 983, as the epigraph on the municipal building in the center of the town says.
