Eccoci giunti alla terza parte della piccola raccolta di racconti che abbiamo creato legati agli scatti fotografici della nuova sede del Bulgari Hotel progettata dallo studio ACPV architects, a Roma. Dopo aver esplorato gli esterni dell’edificio e aver catturato la sua integrazione nella suggestiva cornice della città eterna, e dopo aver condiviso la calda atmosfera degli interni con il legno come protagonista, desideriamo ora raccontarvi un altro elemento distintivo che spesso domina gli ambienti dell’hotel: il marmo. Parlare di marmo al singolare è sicuramente riduttivo: tantissimi marmi di colori, finiture, temperature e tagli differenti di susseguono nelle stanze dell’hotel a formare composizioni di molti colori che si richiamano tra loro. E’ proprio questo dialogo che abbiamo cercato di raccontare con i nostri scatti: decori neri su un pavimento di seminato chiaro vengono ripresi da poggia teche in marmo scuro e dalle imbotti delle porte, una colonna di marmo bianco a striature nere entra in dialogo con una parete di fondo con toni simili. Ancora una volta, la luce gioca un ruolo fondamentale nel mettere in risalto la preziosità, l’unicità e la bellezza dei materiali, grazie al sofisticato progetto illuminotecnico ideato da MetisLighting. Con i nostri scatti, vogliamo trasmettere l’atmosfera di raffinato lusso e l’armonia dei contrasti che caratterizzano gli interni del Bulgari Hotel, catturando l’essenza di questo straordinario progetto architettonico.

Here we are at the third part of the small collection of stories we have created linked to the photographic shots of the new Bulgari Hotel designed by the ACPV architects studio in Rome. After exploring the exteriors of the building and capturing its integration into the evocative Rome’s backdrop, and after sharing the warm atmosphere of the interiors with wood as the protagonist, we now wish to tell you about another distinctive element that often dominates the hotel’s spaces: marble. Speaking of marble in the singular is certainly reductive: countless marbles of different colors, finishes, temperatures, and cuts follow one another in the hotel’s rooms to form compositions of many colors that echo each other. It is precisely this dialogue that we have sought to convey with our shots: black decorations on a light terrazzo floor are echoed by dark marble display stands and door jambs, a column of white marble with black streaks engages in dialogue with a background wall with similar tones. Once again, light plays a fundamental role in highlighting the preciousness, uniqueness, and beauty of the materials, thanks to the sophisticated lighting design project devised by MetisLighting. With our shots, we aim to convey the atmosphere of refined luxury and the harmony of contrasts that characterize the interiors of the Bulgari Hotel, capturing the essence of this extraordinary architectural project.
