L’ELEGANZA DELLO STILE ITALIANO TRASFORMA IL NUOVO, MODERNISSIMO AEROPORTO DI DOHA

Un’imponente realizzazione a cura dello studio Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel Interiors nel lussuoso aeroporto di Doha, in Qatar.

Il nuovo aeroporto di Doha, in Qatar, è considerato l’hub internazionale più moderno al mondo: casa di Qatar Airways, si sviluppa su una superficie di 600.000 metri quadrati e, al suo completamento, vedrà flussi di 50 milioni di passeggeri all’anno. C’è un importante tocco italiano nel cuore di questo nuovo aeroporto e che ho personalmente fotografato: lo Studio Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel interiors si è occupato della realizzazione degli interni di alcune aree chiave, come la Business Class Lounge, la Silver Lounge e l’area check-in. Lo stile e l’eleganza tipicamente italiani, insieme alla ricchezza dei materiali usati, contribuiscono all’atmosfera ricercata e lussuosa dell’hub e fanno di questo aeroporto una destinazione, più che un semplice luogo di transito.

The new airport in Doha, Qatar, is considered the most modern international hub in the world: home to Qatar Airways, it covers an area of 600,000 squared meters and, upon its completion, it will handle about 50 million passengers per year. There’s a special Italian touch in the heart of this new airport, which I personally photographed: the studio Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel Interiors has designed the interiors of some key areas, like the Business Class Lounge, the Silver Lounge and the check-in area. The typically Italian style and elegance, along with the rich materials used, contribute to the refined and luxurious atmosphere, and make this airport a destination, more than just a thoroughfare.
