DESIGN PER GIOCO

Design per gioco, che cosa significa? Se il design è l’ideazione e la progettazione di oggetti secondo forme esteticamente valide in rapporto alla funzionalità dell’oggetto stesso, allora anche i parchi giochi diventano prodotti di design. Le forme di scivoli, altalene e altre strutture sono progettate in funzione della sicurezza e del divertimento dei bambini. I colori accesi mirano a creare un’atmosfera di svago e divertimento per i più piccoli. 

Ovunque ci giriamo, anche senza accorgercene, siamo immersi nel design. Non si tratta solo delle creazioni di grandi marchi, ma di tutto ciò che ci circonda. 

In questo 2021 in cui per il secondo anno consecutivo non si è potuto organizzare un Salone del Mobile e un Fuori Salone fisico nel mese di aprile (è infatti stato rimandato a settembre), il mio occhio ha ricercato aspetti di design anche nei luoghi più improbabili, come i parchi giochi per bambini. E quindi sì, sono andato alla ricerca del design per gioco. 

Design for fun, what does it mean? If design is the conception of objects according to aesthetically valid forms in relation to the functionality of the object itself, then even playgrounds become design products. The shapes of slides, swings and other structures are designed for the safety and enjoyment of children. The bright colors aim at creating an atmosphere of fun and entertainment for the little ones.

Wherever we turn, even without realizing it, we are immersed in design. It is not just about the creations of well-known brands, but about everything that surrounds us.

In this 2021 in which for the second consecutive year it was not possible to organize a “physical” Salone del Mobile and the related Fuori Salone in April (it is postponed to September), my eye has sought design aspects even in the most unlikely places, such as children’s playgrounds. Hence yes, I have been looking for design for fun.
