I GERMOGLI DI LUCE DI BOCCI AL SALONE DEL MOBILE DI MILANO

Durante la settimana del Salone ho fotografato in Fiera lo stand di Bocci, uno studio multidisciplinare di Vancouver, nato dall’idea del designer Omer Arbel, che combina architettura, industrial design e ricerca sui materiali.

Bocci in inglese si tradurrebbe ‘buds’, ossia germogli. E in effetti le sue creazioni luminose sembrano proprio dei germogli di luce, e anche le composizioni mi ricordano qualcosa di organico, come delle spore luminose.

During the fair of Salone del Mobile in Milan I photographed the stand of Bocci, a multidisciplinary study of Vancouver, created by the designer Omer Arbel, combining architecture, industrial design, and materials research.

Bocci in English would translate ‘buds’, defined as ‘sprouts’. Indeed its brighting creations seem light buds, and also the compositions remind me something organic, as bright spores.
