Molto è stato scritto sulle installazioni temporanee proposte dai maggiori studi di architettura durante l’attesissima Design Week 2023.
Noi siamo stati chiamati a fotografare tre proposte, sulle quali abbiamo preso la decisione di dire poco. Come sempre, lasciamo la parola alle nostre immagini.
Cosa si può andare a cercare in un tennis club nella periferia di Milano?
Cristina Celestino ha avuto l’intuizione di lavorare sul Tennis Club Milano Bonacossa, progettato negli anni 20 di un altro secolo da uno dei più famosi architetti: Giovanni Muzio. Siamo stati chiamati da BILUMEN per scattare immagini della riproposizione della lampada Trifoglio, rivisitata dalla stessa Celestino.
La designer ci ha personalmente illustrato il concept dell’installazione, e il nostro obiettivo è andato verso la ricerca dell’unicità compositiva, propria dello stile di Cristina Celestino.

We have been asked to photograph three proposals, about which we have made the decision to say little. As always, we leave the floor to our images.
What can one go looking for in a tennis club on the outskirts of Milan?
Cristina Celestino had the intuition to work on the Tennis Club Milano Bonacossa, designed in the 20s of another century by one of the most famous architects: Giovanni Muzio. We were called by BILUMEN to take images of the repurposing of the Trifoglio lamp, revisited by Celestino herself.
The designer personally explained to us the concept of the installation, and our focus went towards the search for compositional uniqueness, typical of Cristina Celestino’s style.
