AZZORRE: RARO MOSAICO DI ROCCIA E DI MARE

Come ogni anno, alla fine dell’inverno, il pensiero mi va subito al mare. Vorrei condividere con voi queste immagini delle Azzorre, dove il mare, forte e invernale anche in agosto, è molto diverso da quello che conosciamo noi mediterranei. Probabilmente è proprio il contrasto tra il suo colore azzurro e il nero delle rocce vulcaniche a renderlo così particolare. L’uomo, con artifici vari, non resiste alla tentazione di viverne a pieno la sua bellezza.

At the end of cold season I always think about the sea. I would like to show you some pictures taken in Azzorre, where the sea is always rough and cold, also in August. That’s particularly strange for mediterranean people like us. This effect is due to the contrast from light blue of the sea and the black volcanic stones. People is really fascinated from the sea and with some equipment always try to live it.
