TRA TRADIZIONE E FUTURO: IL NUOVO PROGETTO DI PETER MARINO PER BULGARI

In occasione del suo 130esimo compleanno, la Maison romana Bulgari ha festeggiato trasformando la sua boutique storica in Via dei Condotti 10 in un luogo prezioso ricco di citazioni della storia di Roma e dei suoi grandi divi. Il progetto è firmato dall’archistar Peter Marino, già impegnato da molti anni nelle boutiques del gruppo LVMH, di cui Bulgari fa parte. Ciò che salta subito all’occhio è l’elegante fil rouge che l’architetto americano ha voluto mantenere tra tradizione e futuro della storica Maison, con elementi architettonici ispirati a epoche diverse che si mescolano tra loro: Epoca Classica, Epoca Barocca e Razionalismo anni ’30. Questa scelta si riflette anche nell’uso dei materiali: marmi e legni pregiati, pezzi di grande design italiano, il tutto valorizzato dal progetto illuminotecnico realizzato dalla società italiana Metis Lighting. La flessibilità dei Led ha infatti consentito di  illuminare le teche in maniera precisa senza intaccarne la struttura pregiata e sfruttando al meglio le diverse possibilità offerte da questa moderna tecnologia.

For the celebration of his 130th birthday, Bulgari turned its historic boutique in Via dei Condotti 10 in a precious place, full of quotations of Rome as the Capital of History and the Capital of the great Divas. The project is signed by the archistar Peter Marino, already involved for many years in the boutiques of the LVMH group, of which Bulgari is part. What is immediately evident is the elegant common thread that the American architect wanted to maintain between the tradition and the future of the Roman Maison, integrating and mixing architectural elements from different Eras: Classical Period, Baroque and Rationalism of the 30s. This choice is also reflected in the use of materials: marble and wood, pieces of great Italian design, all enhanced by the lighting design created by the Italian company Metis Lighting. The flexibility of LEDs made possible to illuminate the display cases in a precise manner without affecting the fine structure and exploiting the different possibilities offered by this modern technology.
