IL DESIGN DELLE PICCOLE COSE

Mi interessa portare l’attenzione sul fatto che molte delle cose che utilizziamo quotidianamente sono state progettate e disegnate da qualcuno; piccole cose, magari di poca importanza, ma molto utili! Chi non si è mai servito di una “spilla da balia” per sostituire un “bottone saltato” ed evitare di perdere la gonna o i pantaloni? Fermiamo un attimo la nostra attenzione sul disegno di questi piccoli oggetti, così razionali ed utili, ma anche belli da vedere. Volutamente li ho fotografati come delle piccole opere d’arte pronte per essere esposte ad una mostra.

I’m interested in bringing attention to the fact that many of the things we use daily are designed and drawn by someone; they are small things, maybe with no importance, but very useful indeed! Who has never used a “safety pin” to replace a “come off  button” to avoid  losing the skirt or pants? Stop for a moment our attention on the design of these small objects, so rational and useful, but also beautiful to look at. I deliberately photographed  them as little works of art ready to be exposed to an exhibition.
