UN SOFISTICATO INTERVENTO DI RIPROGETTAZIONE

Lo Studio Colleoni & Previtali Architetti ha firmato l’intervento di ristrutturazione degli interni di un’immobile di pregio degli anni ’20 localizzato in un borgo storico del nord d’Italia nei pressi di Milano. Il progetto è incentrato sull’unione di due appartamenti che si struttura attorno alla prospettiva accelerata dello spazio di ingresso che permette l’unione dei due piani e inquadra la scala progettata per l’accesso al lastrico solare attraverso il grande lucernario di copertura.

Gli interni sono completati con l’introduzione di icone del design made in Italy e l’uso di materiali pregiati come il legno di noce per il parquet e le pareti in Corian per gli arredi realizzati su misura.

Elio Ostinelli’s Architectures

I recently went to Italian Switzerland, in Canton Ticino, where I spent two weeks discovering Elio Ostinelli’s architectures.
Ostinelli opened his studio in Chiasso in 1974. Since then, he has been working on various projects, including sports centers, public housing, shopping centers, the headquarters of the Dogana di Chiasso, the new area of the Italian Switzerland University (USI) in Lugano.
I had the pleasure of photographing Elio Ostinelli’s works accompanied by the architect himself. We focused mainly on the projects carried out in the period 1975-2007. When we went to see some residential buildings, we met “the very first tenants”, people who have lived in those places since Ostinelli designed them, inhabitants who in the past years have built life stories related to their homes which, in some cases, they shared with us.
