IL TEATRO CHE ESCE DAL MARE

Il Teatro dell’Opera di Oslo è un interessante esempio di progettazione architettonica e urbanistica. Il gruppo di architetti che si riunisce sotto il nome di Snøhetta ha ideato un tetto piattaforma accessibile a tutti creando un nuovo spazio pubblico nel centro città e contemporaneamente ha unito le bellezze del fiordo di Oslo con quelle della città, in un unico nuovo paesaggio.

Il Teatro, realizzato in marmo bianco di Carrara, metallo, legno e vetro, sembra uscire dalle acque del mare per depositarsi sulla riva. I turisti, gli abitanti della città, i passanti, girovagando liberamente in questo spazio possono godere di un punto di osservazione davvero privilegiato.

The Oslo Opera Theatre is an interesting example of architectural design and urban planning. The group of architects, called Snøhetta, designed a platform roof accessible to everybody creating also a new public space in the city centre. With this project they combined at the same time the beauties of Oslo fjord with the city’s, in a unique new landscape.

The theatre, which was built in Carrara white marble, iron, wood and glass, seems to come out from the sea water to lay on the seashore. Tourists, townspeople, bystanders, can walk around this place and enjoy a privileged observation point.
