UNA GIUNGLA IN FABBRICA

Come ci si sente dentro ad una stanza realizzata con piante tropicali?

Lo studio di architettura SDARCH Trivelli & Associati con Angus Fiori Architects e Alhadeff Architects, ha dato vita ad un’installazione durante il Salone del Mobile 2019, all’interno del Lotto15 alla Fabbrica del Vapore di Milano, realizzando con piante tropicali un’esperienza immersiva nei concetti di Biophilic Design. Una stanza verde, dove la presenza massiva delle piante nello spazio ribalta il concetto di chi è residente e di chi è ospite.

Per l’installazione sono stati prodotti 5 sgabelli in legno di recupero e materia riciclata o abbandonata; il design viene quindi utilizzato come strumento per re- interpretare la materia alla fine del suo ciclo di vita.

How do you feel in a room with tropical plants?

SDARCH Trivelli & Associati Architects Studio with Angus Fiori Architects and Alhadeff Architects created an artistic installation during 2019 Design Week in Milan, inside Lotto15 of Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan and realized an immersive experience in Biophilic Design concepts. A green room where, the wide presence of plants in the space, reverses the concept of who is host and who is guest.

For this installation 5 stools are made with re-usable wood and other recycled and abandoned materials; design shall be used as instrument to reinterpret the stuff at the end of its life.
